We worked to develop and grow a mainstream triathlon brand that attracts a broad audience from fitness enthusiasts to professional athletes. The first Outlaw Triathlon took place in 2010 with just 600 competitors. Since then, Outlaw has developed into a series of event weekends featuring a range of participation and family events alongside the head-lining triathlon events, on site camping, food outlets, music and evening entertainment.
Outlaw is part of a vibrant community of middle and long distance events, amongst which Outlaw commands the highest independent ratings, best reviews and has won multiple awards. Outlaw events are recognised as a standard bearer of high quality delivery, safety and competitor experience. In 2010, Outlaw was one of only two long distance events in the UK. The calendar expanded dramatically over the subsequent years, but was impacted by the Covid pandemic and Outlaw has just one major competitor again now.
