about the artist

Contrary to many artists who dreamt of a music career, Germ's journey was marked by spontaneity rather than a predetermined ambition. Growing up in Florida and Atlanta, Germ's early life consisted of football, skateboarding, and graffiti. Football consumed his adolescence until he started high school where a newfound passion for graffiti art, skateboarding, and freestyling had sparked. Germ became a viral success in 2013 when he posted a Vine that showcased his freestyling abilities. This caught the attention of Fat Nick and introduced him to the world of rap. Leading to future collaborations with Fat Nick and Poya. This motivated him to not just freestyle his music, but to start writing and recording.

Connecting with Poya led Germ to cross paths with the $uicideboy$ during a No Jumper interview in 2015. This encounter sparked a dynamic partnership between Germ and the

$uicdeboy$ who hit it off quickly and began to collaborate. They released their first song 'Marlboros & White Widow' and embarked on the 'Southside Suicide Tour' the following year. They did not stop there as they continued to work together and released their collaborative project, 'Dirtiestnastiestsuicide,' which would be the start of a trilogy.

Over the years, Germ had transcended from his roots as a graffiti artist and skater to a committed underground artist. His evolution as an artist sparked a growing commitment to his craft releasing a variety of collaborative and solo projects that showcase his versatility. His solo endeavors like his debut tape 'Badshit (Bootleg)' and 'Germ Has a Deathwish' marked pivotal moments in his career and displayed his ability to deliver unique and compelling music.

June 2018 marked a significant chapter in Germ's career when he decided to sign with $uicideboy$ label, G59. This provided him a platform to further solidify his presence in the industry. This started a Summer full of creative endeavors and collaborative ventures as he unveiled the 'Samurai Shit' music video with Lil Gnar. Germ followed the summer by joining $uicideboy$ on their 'I Want to Die in New Orleans' tour.

As Germ steps into 2024, he is set to conquer the year. Starting with a tour alongside Night Lovell and the release of his highly anticipated project in March. The project is inspired by life's unpredictable twists and turns hence the title, 'Every Dog Has its Day.' Germ remains committed to his career with a pledge to remain consistent and release more music. His influence in the underground rap scene is set to expand and leave an enduring mark.
