"Air Is Free" is released worldwide today on October 7th (Republic / Polydor / Universal). The first single is a spark of the firework that is yet to come later this year, when Johnossi will release an EP on November 8th with "Air Is Free" as lead track. Full album to follow early 2017. Johnossi consists of singer and guitarist John Engelbert and drummer Oskar "Ossi" Bonde. The two founding (and only) members started the two-man band in their early 20´s and only three shows and a few months later they landed their first record deal. What they didn´t know back then was that their debut album would make them one of the most influential acts in Sweden during the 21st century. Since their self titled debut album (2005) Johnossi have released three more records followed by extensive touring mainly in Europe but also in the US and Japan both headlining and as support to acts like Lykke Li, The Hives, Mando Diao, Green Day, Shout Out Louds and The Soundtrack of Our Lives. The duo have had several platinum selling albums and singles in Sweden and has won several awards including Swedish Grammy Award for "Best Group" + two National Radio P3 Gold Awards also for "Best Group" (equivalent of Radio 1 in the UK). Johnossi is very well known for their amazing and exciting live shows with high voltage energy. John's strong voice and stunning guitar playing combined with Ossi's ferocious drumming make them sound like a full on armada, still with only so few people on stage.
