MoreKnown as a superstar with substance, RUEL exudes a sense of style and sophistication well beyond his years, maintaining humility within his swagger both on and off the stage. Whether sitting front row at Paris and New York Fashion Weeks, collaborating with orchestras in Budapest, or consistently surprising fans with free impromptu Pop-Up concerts around the world, Ruel's endearing yet unassuming presence as an artist and an individual is magnetic.
Since making his debut in 2017 at the age of 14, RUEL has a biography that is nothing short of astonishing. Best known for his certified RIAA Gold selling singles Painkiller and Dazed & Confused, the multi-award winning artist's CV also includes the release of 4 EPs, a mammoth debut album and over three Billion streams.
What's more impressive? The fact that he achieved all of the above before turning 21.
With such career milestones already on the board, Ruel's name is one of global recognition. From all over the world, Ruel's ever expanding audience has given rise to him being considered as one of his generation's most influential artists.
Ruel has made some pretty life changing decisions over the last 12 months. First up, he swapped the beaches of Sydney for the musical epicentre of LA; a choice that was cemented when the multi-award-winning artist was welcomed into the Giant Music family; a part of The Azoff Company portfolio. Headed up by label President Nate Albert, Ruel's signing marks the industry heavyweight's first direct label signing, having previously held positions at Capitol Records and Warner Music where he was responsible for signing The Weeknd, Maggie Rogers and Omar Apollo.
To celebrate this new chapter of ongoing ascent to global superstardom, Ruel dove head first into the studio to work with a small group of his most creative (and award winning) simpatico producers and songwriters.
This creative collective includes Julian Bunetta (One Direction, Sabrina Carpenter, Teddy Swims), Joel Little (Taylor Swift, Khalid, Gracie Abrams), Kenny Beats (Ed Sheeran, Dominic Fike, Freddie Gibbs) and long-standing executive producer and mentor M-Phazes (Eminem, Madonna, Kehlani, Demi Lovato).
2024 saw Ruel release his 4th EP and first covers project, Adaptations, as well as taking to the stage for his first-ever live appearance at Lollapalooza Chicago, which was an undeniable audience highlight. This festival debut adds to his already standout list of global domination, having already racked up four sold-out world tours, a pertormance at Tyler, the Creator's Camp Flog Gnaw and multiple guest appearances at Coachella, with artists such as SG Lewis and most recently joining longtime collaborator Omar Apollo on stage for his 2024 set at the iconic festival.
Continuing to offer up bold, stand-out new works, Ruel's organic musical diversity proves that it's almost impossible to pigeonhole him into any specific 'music lane.' His skill to warp and dive into such a wide range of musical styles provides Ruel the opportunity for collaborations across multiple genres, with peers such as singer/songwriters like Grent Perez, Lime Cordiale, Holly Humberstone, JKE, as well as producer sG Lewis, and Hip-Hop artists such as Denzel Curry and GoldLink.
Ruel's international army of fans have begun activating their 'sixth sense,' with all eyes intensely watching with anticipation for something huge to come their way.
And of course, they are right. Slated for a mid-2025 release, Ruel's sophomore album promises to be his best work to date. Until things are official, however, there is a collective breath being held in all corners of the world.
