From a serendipitous meeting at a Montreal club in 2002, Ossama Al Sarraf and Ned Shepard quickly discovered they had a natural musical chemistry. They began collaborating on original songs and remixes and signed their first song to John Digweed's imprint Bedrock Records, marking the inauguration of a collaboration that would define the landscape of dance music in years to come.
From collaborations with David Guetta and Tiësto, to remixes for Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga, and Madonna, the duo continued to establish themselves as one of dance music's leading partnerships. The next few years saw a period of global touring including stops at Tomorrowland, Ultra, and EDC, and recognition from their peers with major accolades including a Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording (Bruno Mars — "Locked Out of Heaven") and two Juno Award nominations for Best Dance Recording.
Most recently, the duo has opened a new chapter for themselves by returning to their melodic house and progressive roots, signing with Lane 8 and his label This Never Happened (TNH) in 2020 and simultaneously launching their weekly radio show Dialekt Radio, further underscoring their commitment to pushing musical boundaries across the globe with syndication to more than 67 territories with 23 million listeners each month.
They have since released several singles and EPs, including collaborations with Jon Hopkins, Lane 8, Angela McCluskey, Le Youth, and more, going on to release three studio albums to form what the duo lovingly titled the 'Circle In Time' Trilogy. Their first album on the label released in 2021, Something, Everything, defined their sound, established them as a leading act on TNH, and was met with much critical acclaim. Their second album, released in 2022, Forever, Now, saw collaborations with Julia Church, Andrew Belle, Delhia De France, and others. Closely following, Endless Dawn was released in 2023 and featured collaborations with Elderbrook and Panama. By fall of 2024, the duo completed the 'Circle In Time' Trilogy series by releasing the full collection of 48 tracks, including nine never-before-released titles from the series.
