The artist duo TABLE consist of 24-year-old friends Valter and Andreas, who first met in high school. They share a mutual passion for not only music itself, but also the unique communication through music, as well as the connection music can have between people. The name TABLE is an invitation to do just that; sharing meetings, experiences and musical diversities withing their musical realm. The name TABLE is an invitation to do just that; sharing meetings, experiences and musical diversities withing their musical realm. This will be a core value in everything they do, be it features, remixes, live performances, etc.
The music is current and centered around beat driven sounds, sometimes electronic house but just as often with heavy jazz, soul, latin or afro influences. They play keyboards, guitar and drums as well as program beats and sometimes sing harmonies on their tracks. Musical influences can be Disclosure, Jarami, Kaytranada, James Blake, D'Angelo and Tom Misch.
Their live performance, besides featuring beat mixes on their DJ decks or loop based MPC beats, incorporate live instrumentation and percussion, and often featuring guest vocalists as well as other jazz musicians.
Since the start, the strategy for TABLE is to first gain an audience via SoMe and other music platforms. During the past twelve months they have released edits when brining their sound on artists they hold in high regard, releasing mixtapes as well as original tracks. After the online success of "Hotspot," an instrumental house jazz record, we made the decision to record an EP in the same vein with live jazz musicians, who are also their friends.
TABLE is now setting up their DSP debut.
