FULL BIO
TUKAN was born from the meeting of Nathan, Andrea, and Samuel at the Jazz Studio in Antwerp, where their musical chemistry began to develop. After experimenting with various projects under the name Boucan, the band reinvented itself in 2019 as TUKAN with the arrival of Tommaso on drums. This new lineup marked the beginning of an enriching journey, during which the band delved into an intense creative period, refining their style and establishing a distinctive musical direction.
In 2021, TUKAN released their self-titled debut EP, a crucial milestone that laid the foundation for their artistic transformation. The positive reception of the EP set the group on the path to a promising career. In November 2022, TUKAN unveiled their first album, Atoll, praised for its innovative blend of electronic and instrumental sounds. The album launched the band into a world tour with over 150 concerts, ranging from intimate clubs to international festivals.
In 2023, Alexandre Gauthier joined the group, adding a new dimension to the band. TUKAN then released Atoll Extended, a reissue of their album Atoll featuring 9 remixes by various producers, reaffirming their passion for electronic music and further anchoring the band within the electronic scene.
This tour and these releases allowed TUKAN to connect with a diverse audience and hone their musical approach. Their vibrant and intense live performances solidified their reputation and commitment to creating music that unites generations.
On January 25, 2025, TUKAN will release Human Drift, their second album, which marks a major turning point in their musical journey. The album's release will be celebrated with a launch party at Ancienne Belgique on February 7, 2025.
