With their ethos of helping people living healthier, better, longer lives AIA have successfully used their
partnership with Spurs over the course of the 23/24 season to promote this message.
We helped AIA create multiple bits of content throughout the season. The first series, featuring Ben Davies, Vicario, Udogie and Son, focused on mental health and nutrition. It has been proven that learning a new skill can improve your mental health, so with the help of celebrity chef Jeremy Pang, the players learnt how to make nutritious snacks.
Furthermore, AIA also tapped into the growing demand for ASMR, creating a fun piece of content with the players to promote the mental health benefits ASMR can have for fans, viewers and customers.
Towards the end of the season, we sat down with the Spurs’ manager, Ange Postecoglou as part of AIA’s let’s talk series. Postecoglou discussed confronting adversity during his career, memories of his late father and more in a moving interview that highlighted the benefits of speaking up about important issues.
The 2023/24 season culminated in the AIA Championship returning to London after it’s huge success last season. The AIA Championship is an event where staff from AIA’s global offices join forces in London to play out a football tournament at Tottenham’s world class training ground.
This year, we were delighted to extend invitations to 22 teams, from 12 markets across Singapore, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia and more. Spurs legend Gary Mabbutt was in attendance to cheer on the teams and offer some coaching advice to all involved.
Prior to the tournament itself, each team enjoyed a long weekend trip that included more than just attending the grand final itself. On Friday night they were treated to a drink’s reception, where the draw was held to reveal who would be playing against each other at the finals. Thanks to their partnership with Tottenham Hotspur, guests were then invited to attend the Spurs game against Burnley, where they saw Spurs win 2-1.
All in all, it has been a hugely successful season for AIA, and we’re proud to have played our role in that. Roll on next season.
