Founded by pro skateboarder Rob Dyrdek in 2010, Street League Skateboarding (SLS) was created to foster growth, popularity and acceptance of street skateboarding across the world. In the 15 years since, SLS has propelled street skateboarding from a collection of independent standalone events to a renowned global series.
Back in October, we had the privilege of delivering the entire venue and event overlay signage for the Sydney leg of the tour, on behalf of Thrill One Sports and Entertainment, who owns and operates SLS.
Held at the Ken Rosewall Arena at Sydney Olympic Park, this was our Australian account team’s first foray into the world of extreme sports. They were on hand to ensure the skateboarders had a slick and sharp stage on which to thrill the 10,000 fans who turned up across the two-day tournament, as well as the huge online audience the event was live streamed to via Rumble.
