Wasserman’s Industry-Leading Sports Talent Representation Practice Continues Growth of NFL Division
Global sports, music, and entertainment agency Wasserman has acquired Caric Sports Management and hired Steve Caric as Senior Vice President, Football, announced today by Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, Talent Jason Ranne. As part of the acquisition, Molly McManimie, will also join Wasserman as Director, Football.
“Steve built a highly respected representation business based on many of the same core values that Wasserman employs in the representation of its clients, including family, trust, and integrity,” said Ranne. “We are thrilled Steve and Molly decided to join us and will support them and their clients with every possible resource at our disposal and with the same client-first approach that made them successful.”
“After launching this business without a client 14 years ago and building it from the ground up, I could not be more excited to be joining a global powerhouse like Wasserman, who aligns with our core values of family and integrity,” said Caric. “This is really a testament to our elite clients, as this wouldn’t be possible without their relentless passion and work ethic on and off the field.”
Caric Sports’ clients, including Zach Ertz, Dalton Schultz, T.J. Edwards, Logan Wilson, Greg Dulcich, Jelani Woods, Drew Dalman, Mack Hollins, and Austin Hooper will join Wasserman’s first-class roster of some of the biggest names in the NFL, such as Arik Armstead, Kenny Clark, Amari Cooper, Maxx Crosby, Cameron Jordan, Marcus Peters, Cam Robinson, Geno Smith, and Shaq Thompson. Caric also represents two-time USWNT Player of the Year Julie Ertz, who joins Wasserman’s industry-leading women’s soccer division.
Caric, a Bakersfield, CA native, founded Caric Sports Management in 2009. He graduated from San Diego State with a degree in communications, and sat on SDSU’s original board of advisors for their sports MBA program. A Cancer survivor, Caric and wife Natalie are parents to son Colton and daughter Caydence. Caric and McManimie will continue to be based in Las Vegas, NV.
Throughout its over 20-year history, Wasserman has deliberately and strategically grown its worldwide presence through both targeted acquisitions and organic growth, establishing itself as one of the world’s leading companies in the areas of sports and music talent representation, and brands and properties consultancy.
