New departments enhance Wasserman’s commitment to providing the broadest and deepest suite of services to clients
Global sports, music and culture agency Wasserman has introduced new departments Wasserman Next Gen and Wasserman Digital Design & Technology, as next generation marketing experts Riddle & Bloom and e-commerce specialists Accorin are rebranded within Wasserman’s brand and property marketing division.
“The formal rebrand of these two key groups under the Wasserman umbrella further underscores our commitment to serving these critical consumer segments,” said Elizabeth Lindsey, President of Brands and Properties at Wasserman. “The Next Gen and Digital Design & Technology teams are proven market leaders in their respective industries. We are proud to have them rebranded as Wasserman so we can collectively serve our clients as one TeamWass.”
Previously acquired as Riddle & Bloom in April 2021, Wasserman Next Gen focuses on high school students, college-aged consumers and early professionals, harnessing their influence to tap into their buying power and solve for the unique challenges of marketing to Gen Z. With clients including adidas, Amazon, Canva, Comcast, HBO, Intuit and J.Crew Group, the experts of Wasserman Next Gen have produced award-winning campaigns such as Xfinity’s HBCU Community Tour (Gold – Best Diversity Campaign at the 2022 Chief Marketer Pro Awards) and Amazon Prime’s student social program (Gold – Best Use of Micro Influencers at the 2022 U.S. Partnership Awards).
“As we approach our second year as part of Wasserman, this rebrand fortifies our expertise as a one-stop shop for next gen marketing,” said Darren Ross, EVP of Wasserman Next Gen. “We know that to break through with teens, college students and young professionals, cultural relevance is key. Becoming Wasserman Next Gen allows us to better leverage our exclusive access, multiyear partnerships and network of students and alumni, alongside Wasserman’s 20+ years of experience driving worldwide consumer engagement across sports, music and culture.”
Wasserman Digital Design & Technology – originally acquired as Accorin – designs, builds, manages and markets e-commerce solutions, custom applications and complex digital integrations for business-to-consumer and business-to-business companies. Clients include consumer brands, manufacturers, distributors and e-commerce merchants such as Attn: Grace, Charlotte’s Web, MALIN+GOETZ, Maria Tash, Massage Warehouse, Scrip Companies and Zildjian. Wasserman Digital Design & Technology is an Adobe Silver Solution partner with more than 40 individual Adobe Experience Cloud certifications, in addition to being a certified solution partner of BigCommerce, Bloomreach and Shopify.
“This move enables us to enhance our service offerings for new and existing clients, with additional capabilities including digital experience design, non-transactional website development, custom application development, customer experience and conversion optimization,” said Graham Lubie, Vice President of Digital Strategy and Delivery at Wasserman Digital Design & Technology. “We are thrilled to formally operate as part of the broader Wasserman platform and look forward to harnessing our digital expertise to further enhance Wasserman’s global capabilities.”
The rebrand of Next Gen and Digital Design & Technology as departments within Wasserman reinforces the company’s comprehensive range of services across brand & property marketing, with capabilities including strategy, partnership management, measurement, experiential, media, influencer, content and more. The move will additionally facilitate increased collaboration with Wasserman’s world-class roster of sports, media and music talent, elevating the company’s shared service offerings for clients across all three divisions.
Throughout its 20-year history, Wasserman has deliberately and strategically grown its worldwide presence through both targeted acquisitions and organic growth. Additional recent expansion in the company’s massive international growth trajectory includes:
