Henrik Larsson

Henrik Larsson is a retired Swedish professional footballer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest Scandinavian players of all time. Born on September 20, 1971, in Helsingborg, Sweden, Larsson primarily played as a striker. He began his professional career with Högaborgs BK and then moved to Helsingborgs IF before making a significant impact at Feyenoord in the Netherlands.

However, Larsson’s most memorable years were spent at Celtic FC in Scotland, where he became a club legend. During his seven-year stint at Celtic from 1997 to 2004, Larsson won numerous domestic titles, including multiple Scottish Premier League championships and Scottish Cups. He also played a pivotal role in Celtic’s remarkable run to the UEFA Cup Final in 2003, where they narrowly lost to Porto.
