Kendra Douglas is the team reporter for the Orlando Magic.
Previously, she was a sports anchor and reporter at WESH 2 Sports in Orlando, Florida. Prior to joining WESH 2, Kendra was at NBC affiliate KSN-TV in Wichita, Kansas, where she served as a sports anchor and reporter for two years.
In Wichita, she covered the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl run and the following year covered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl run in Florida.
Prior to covering sports in Wichita, Kendra worked in Wilmington, North Carolina. She covered Friday Night Hits and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington’s run through the NCAA basketball tournament.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Kendra received a degree in media and journalism. A student athlete, she was a member of the track team and competed in the 400-meter race at the ACC Tournament.
One of the highlights of Kendra’s career was working for the Olympic News Service at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio where she interviewed track star Usain Bolt after his last competitive race.
She has always given back to the communities where she has lived. Kendra was a member of the Junior League, a non-profit in Wichita working with families and children. While in college, she was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, working on philanthropic projects serving her community.
Less
