Throughout his career, Kiké has played for the Houston Astros, Miami Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Boston Red Sox. In his first season with the Red Sox, Kiké played a crucial part in the team, exceeding expectations in the regular season, and had a monstrous postseason performance, which helped the Red Sox reach the ALCS. Kiké is a team leader and a go-to-guy in the clubhouse and on the field. Prior to joining the Red Sox in 2021, Kiké played six seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers where he was awarded the Fielding Bible Award and became a World Series Champion in 2020. Additionally, Kiké was a member of Team Puerto Rico in the 2017 and 2023 World Baseball Classics. In July of 2023, Kiké made his return to the Dodgers where he has been finding immense success at the plate. In 2024, he helped guide Los Angeles to a World Series championship.
Kiké is a fan favorite in any market and is known for his humorous antics and electric energy. Kiké’s life off the field is centered around music, dancing, food, family, sneakers, and fashion. Above all, Kiké enjoys spending time with his wife, Mariana, and their daughter, Penelope. In the offseason, the family resides in Phoenix, Arizona, with their two dogs, Bruce Wayne and Arizona.
