After attending Appalachian State University in his hometown of Boone, NC, he graduated in 2023 with a degree in Architecture but elected to stay in Boone, so that he could chase after his dreams by spending his days writing and doing what he loves most: creating music. He lives in a one-bedroom tiny home deep in the NC mountains, near Ashe County and loves the solitude and inspiration that it provides him. When not making music, Barrett lends a helping hand on his family's honey farm.
