American kennel club’s commercial strategy

Wasserman was hired by the AKC four years ago to help with their commercial strategy – mainly regarding securing new brand partners for their recently developed Dog Sports Series. Together with the AKC, we have refined the commercial strategy and value proposition to reinforce that the AKC is not only the leading dog organization in the U.S., but also the go-to information resource and entertainment destination for dog lovers nationwide.

The results

To date, Wasserman has helped broker 11 endemic and non-endemic partners. These have ranged from supplier level deals to major partnerships, inclusive of an Entitlement opportunity with Farmer’s Dog as the Presenting Partner of the Dog Sports Series on ESPN.

 

As a direct result of Wasserman’s impact, we have been extended multiple times and have helped generate millions in revenue for the nation’s leading canine organization via brand partnerships.
