Gogo squeez: fun comes first

GoGo squeeZ wanted to create a breakthrough social good campaign in partnership with US Soccer, aimed at promoting its core brand values of healthy and active lifestyles and nutrition for children and families. We were tapped to help GoGo squeeZ’s achieve its brand and social impact goals, creating a multi-year campaign with enduring relevance. We helped develop a multi-pronged campaign to increase participation in youth sports by working to overcome critical barriers preventing kids from accessing and staying in sport.
 
Our goal was to address immediate pandemic-related obstacles as well as systemic issues within youth sports.
 
Campaign Tactics: Generating Awareness and Thought Leadership GGS engaged Alex Morgan as an ambassador to raise awareness and became a supporting partner of the 2020 Project Play Summit, the premier gathering for leaders in youth sports. Alex Morgan shared key learnings from her own experience and announced the campaign launch of “Fun Comes First”.
 
Raising Critical Funds: GoGo squeeZ teamed up with Omaze, US Soccer, and Alex Morgan to launch a fundraising campaign to benefit Laureus USA and their mission to improve the lives of youth through the power of sport. Fans were given the chance to win an experience with Alex Morgan at a USWNT practice and VIP seats at a send-off match.
 
Activating Community Programming: With the funds raised through the Omaze campaign and a matching contribution of $50,000 from GoGo squeeZ, Laureus USA was able to provide $10,000 grants to 5 youth sports organizations to help them address immediate pandemic-related needs.
