Like the savvy gardener times their tasks with where the moon is at, we wrote the beginnings of songs like we were tilling the soil ~ according to our creative ebb and flow. Then, as you would sweeten the soil with lime, we sweeten the chords with melodies As the seedlings grow up, so to the songs evolve.

The glory vegetable in a garden is the pumpkin and so All The Power is the pumpkin of this garden. The bands Masanobu Fukuoka, Jono Ma of Jagwar Ma brought some cosmic compost and the microbes for this one and Inner Space.
Naxos is about the days getting longer, every star a different colour. This is the mulberry tree in the garden. It feeds the chickens in spring, shades them in summer and warms them in winter when the leaves have fallen. The game of life and their blue mountain future.
Mediterranean culture and climate. Very good for growing stuff. All is as it was and ever more shall be. Though if you pick the the flower it will wilt. Grilled sardines and cold rose.
The bay tree in the middle of the garden is Wild About Harry. Filled with nostalgia of Babe Rainbow on the hippy trail. Ahipara to Leo Carrillo and Guethary – Sangiovese and tabac. Good times
Flashback is the perennial mint that grows without needing care. Over pathways where you tread, and the smell ignites your senses. Akin to the Babe Rainbow's eternal love of surfing and more specifically, driving to North Wall from Lismore in Angus' Mazda.
This years garden has been created with producer Wayne Connolly who for the third time has brought out his Yeomans plow on 'The Organic Album.' Open Up Your Heart was written by his friend G Wayne Thomas back in 1969. Utterly gorgeous down-home lyrics, a joy to play and record. A sunflower amongst the corn.
Fantastic Landscape wrote itself, like the cherry tomatoes that grow themselves from the compost.
Parenthood and the pandemic shaped Things Are different Now. Plenty of Baby Rainbows cruising around now, this is the band contemplating the journey now for many. The basil for your pesto.
And finally, at the lush end of the garden you will find Sunshine and Shadow. The ebb and flow of nature and relationships. There is a reason for every season. How fortunate we are to experience all of this and grow together. Nasturtiums growing happily beneath the citrus trees.
