He may begin a set using a Power Point presentation, outlining special things about the city or event, or going over concert etiquette. He might command the crowd using snack cakes as a bargaining tool. Tiiiiiiiiiip takes time to learn about each place he plays, and adapt his set accordingly. In Germany, he may have the crowd mosh to a classic children's theme to "Schnappi, das kleine Krokodil," and in Australia, his set wouldn't be complete without the regional line dance to Tina Turner's "Nutbush City Limits." Each Tiiiiiiiiiip set is, certainly, one of a kind.
Tiiiiiiiiiip began his career in Minneapolis, building up a substantial fanbase, djing and organizing parties at the legendary First Avenue. He also served as DJ for thestand4rd, which featured Spooky Black (international phenomenon, revered by everyone from Billie Eilish & Kylie Kenner to the Kid Laroi & Lil Peep), Allan Kingdom (known for his "All Day" collab with Kanye West & Paul McCartney), Bobby Raps & Psymun. He would eventually embark on several nationwide tours with members during his tenure with the group.
Forbes Magazine wrote an article on Tiiiiiiiiiip, about "Successful Promotion & Making it as a DJ," detailing the steps he took to "make it" in music. In addition to Djing, Tiiiiiiiiiiip has had a hand in organizing & promoting concerts, including the Minnesota debuts of Post Malone, $UICIDEBOY$, Juice Wrld, Playboi Carti & more. He also helped facilitate and produce the "Hamburger Helper" Mixtape with Bobby Raps, which trended #1 on Twitter upon its release, amassing over 10,000,000 plays, with write ups in Billboard and the Los Angeles Times.
Tiiiiiiiiiip is also known for his extravagant fashion sense. Vogue Magazine wrote an article & interviewed him for their Vogue100 campaign, in which they attribute him with "Carrying on Prince's Style Legacy." He was commissioned by Juice Wrld to create his first full line of official merch (over 20 different pieces), which was worn by him extensively, and was sold in Spencer's Gifts stores nationwide.
In 2019, Tiiiiiiiiiip began his work with Yung Gravy. Together they've performed 300+ shows and 11 tours, with appearances on MTV's Video Music Awards, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, ESPN's X-Games, A Minnesota Vikings Game, The Streamer Awards & many more. Tiiiiiiiiiip is Gravy's go-to for all things creative, be it help with music, social media, graphic design, fashion, you name it. Any creative quandary or conundrum, Tiiiiiiiiiip has an "i" for it.
