Three 'Actual Life' albums were released between 2021 and 2022, with 'Actual Life 3' landing Fred his first ever UK Top 5 album and a Mercury Prize nomination.

2023 saw Fred start the year by joining forces with Skrillex & veteran grime MC, Flowdan, on Skrillex single 'Rumble' in January, which was first teased during his Boiler Room debut in the summer of 2022. After playing a series of pop-up shows in London alongside Skillex and Four Tet later that month, the trio then went onto sell-out the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York in February – over 19,000 tickets were sold in less than 10 minutes – and later headline the final night of Coachella, playing to over 125,000 people and an additional 3+ million who have since re-watched their set on YouTube.

Elsewhere in 2023, Fred also recorded a special Tiny Desk Concert for NPR, which saw him relearn the marimba, play a vibraphone, sit at a piano and loop beats on his laptop simultaneously, while also joining forces with Brian Eno on 'Secret Life' – a surprise-drop 13 track ambient album released on Four Tet's Text Records imprint.

Fred later made his Glastonbury debut that summer, pulling in one of the largest crowds in the Other Stage's history, before going on to sell-out a total of 5x shows at London's Alexandra Palace in just one week. Punctuated by statement releases – UK #4 single 'adore u' alongside Obongjayar & 'ten' ft Jozzy – He closed out 2023 with a sold-out EU tour run, 3x sold-out shows at NY's Forest Hills Stadium and a further 9x sold-out shows at LA's Shrine Expo Hall.

2024 saw Fred continue to push his live show to new limits; from landmark, sold-out stadiums in Los Angeles – Fred played to over 77,000 people at the LA Memorial Coliseum, making it the biggest-ever standalone electronic headline show in the US – to sunset pop-ups at skateparks in Mexico City, last-minute sell-out shows at the Sydney Opera House and a surprise 30-minute ambient set on the piano at Glastonbury's Strummerville. Following his appearance at Strummerville, Fred played a series of surprise piano sets across Europe, including unannounced performances at a village pub in Somerset, on a barge in Copenhagen with JOY (Anonymous), and from the shores of a lake in Athens alongside SOAK.

Fred also made waves in San Francisco alongside Skrillex and Anderson Paak shortly after headlining EDC in Las Vegas as a surprise guest, when the trio played from the steps of the city's Civic Center to over 25,000 people. Tickets had sold-out in less than an hour only a few days prior.

Returning to the UK to headline Reading & Leeds Festival – the first electronic act ever to do so in the festival's history – and play a host of European festivals including Sziget, Pukkelpop and Lowlands, Fred also released latest studio album, 'ten days' last summer. Comprised of 10 tracks, 'ten days' featured contributions from Sampha, SOAK, Four Tet, Skrillex, Anderson Paak, The Japanese House, Scott Hardkiss and Emmylou Harris.

The album also featured previously released singles 'adore u' alongside Obongjayar & 'ten' ft. Jozzy and its release spawned over 50 listening parties in towns and cities all over the world, organised by his fans on Discord. From locations as remote as Sao Miguel Island in the Azores and Ilullissat in Greenland, to multiple events in major cities across the UK & Ireland, Europe, Asia, North America, Australia & New Zealand, fans gathered to celebrate and listen to the record for the first time in every corner of the globe.

'ten days' also followed 'USB001' — the first vinyl volume of Fred's infinite, ever-evolving 'USB' album project chronicling his most defining club singles. Made available on limited-edition 12" vinyl, '001' featured tracks like 'Baby Again,' 'Rumble' alongside Skrillex & Flowdan, 'Jungle,' 'leavemealone' with Baby Keem and 'stayinit' with Lil Yachty, as well as remixes from Nia Archives, HAAi and Rico Nasty. Since its release, Fred's 'flex fm' freddit of Joy Orbison's 'flight fm' — an edit meshing together 'flight fm' with Lil Yachty, Future & Playboi Carti's 'Flex Up' — has also been added to the 'USB' project.

Fred closed out 2024 with another sell-out North American Tour, this time making stops in cities he'd never played in before, including Denver, Salt Lake City, Buffalo, Detroit, Minneapolis and Toronto, before pulling together '2024' — a candid 18-minute video recap of the year. The film features a host of unseen BTS footage, impromptu jam sessions, live footage and unheard collaborations, including a backstage cover of Billie Eilish's 'What Was I Made For?' played on the harp, alongside vocals from Romy.
