Jerry Rivera

Jerry Rivera, whose full name is Gerardo Rivera Rodríguez, was born on July 31, 1973, in Santurce, Puerto Rico, into a family where musical talent ran deep. Son of Edwin Rivera Mercado, a renowned director of the trio Los Barons, and Dominga Rodríguez Cedeño, Jerry grew up immersed in the world of music, influenced by great salsa artists like Eddie Santiago, Frankie Ruiz, and Lalo Rodríguez.

From an early age, Jerry demonstrated his passion and musical ability. He made his debut in the artistic scene at the age of 15 with his album "Empezando a vivir," which earned him recognition from the salsa-loving audience. His second album, "Abriendo puertas," marked the beginning of his consolidation as a prominent figure in Latin music, with hits like "Esa niña" and "Dime."
