With their beautifully intimate three-part harmonies, the trio's enticing signature sound offered exquisite, reimagined versions of songs across a spectrum of styles, quickly driving them to viral success. They received recognition and early support from artists as diverse as David Crosby, Marcus Mumford, Phoebe Bridgers, and Noah Kahan. Collaborations included work with Mark Ronson, JP Saxe, and Lizzy McAlpine, who they supported on NPR's Tiny Desk.
Their first two singles of original music, "pennies (voice memo)" and "hemenway," were released at the end of 2022. The songs received an overwhelming response, organically garnering over 1 million plays across digital streaming platforms in just a few months. Their debut EP, "tiny things," was released in April 2023 and established them as one of the bands to watch in the coming year. In early 2023, Gracie Abrams hand selected the band to support her on the "Good Riddance Tour" across North America, followed by their own sold-out U.S. "Tiny Tour." By the end of the year, the trio had opened for Noah Kahan on his "Stick Season Tour" across Europe and sold out their first headline show in London. The band also joined Noah Kahan in his BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance of Olivia Rodrigo's song "lacy."
In January 2024, the band rejoined Gracie Abrams, opening for the Australian leg of her "Good Riddance Tour." They also accompanied her on Triple J's Like A Version performance of "405." This tour was followed by their own sold-out headline show in Melbourne and a performance at the Minetta Lane Theatre in New York with Kacey Musgraves for Audible. The New Yorker featured the band in a glowing profile, coining them "The Prodigies of Harmonies."
Following these tours, the band began working with acclaimed producer Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, Taylor Swift, Boygenius) on their debut album. They signed with independent label Mom+Pop in early 2024. After a string of acclaimed singles ("Mudroom," "Flicker/I Don't Have The Heart," and "Wishes"), the trio's highly anticipated debut album, All For Something, was released on May 21st. The album, centered around the gorgeous harmonies for which the band is known, features a richly layered musical backdrop ranging from piano ballads and folk to 70sinspired soft rock. Written by all three bandmates, the album's twelve tracks explore themes of sensitivity, insecurity, nostalgia, love, and friendship, all presented with an old-soul perspective in a social media-driven world. The band received high praise for the album, including being featured on the cover of NME Magazine, interviewed by Teen Vogue, and listed as one of Spotify's Juniper's 2024 Folk Artists To Watch. Ann Powers of NPR Music exclaimed, "I can't wait for this vocal trio's debut album to take the world by storm." The album's release coincided with the band's first major "Little Bit Farther" headlining tour across North America and Europe in spring 2024.
After the album's release, Tiny Habits collaborated with Holly Humberstone, featuring on a stripped-back version of her song "Antichrist" and later performing with her at a headline show in Boston. The trio also reunited with Kacey Musgraves, featuring on "Perfection," a track on the deluxe version of her latest album. During the summer, the band performed at Lollapalooza and opened for Medium Build as part of a Lollapalooza after show in Chicago. Throughout fall 2024, they supported Vance Joy on his "Dream Your Life Away" Anniversary Tour, performing at iconic venues like Radio City Music Hall and The Greek Theatre. Shortly after, they joined Lake Street Dive for a series of dates on their North American "Good Together" tour.
In November of 2024, Tiny Habits released their highly anticipated new single, "For Sale Sign" featuring Lizzy McAlpine, via Mom+Pop. The song received widespread praise, garnering over 2 million plays across digital streaming platforms in its first month and receiving airplay on BBC Radio 1.To wrap up a monuments year, the band returned to Australia for their first headline tour, "Just Little Down Under."
On July 18th 2025, the band released their new song, "Either," an anthem for homebodies and people who want to simply stay home. The chorus of the song delivered with the trio's wellknown harmonies explains, "Everyone's drinking and singing along, We would stand next to the speaker, You know I'm praying you'll say what I want, Tell me you don't wanna go either."
The band is currently on tour with James Taylor and His All Star Band across North America before setting out with Sarah McLachlan across Canada on her 30th Anniversary Fumbling Towards Ecstasy.
NPR's music scribe Ann Powers said, "What I love about Tiny Habits… is the trio's dedication to capturing complicated emotional experiences — endings, beginnings and especially the uncertain time when either might occur — in its songwriting and in the way its members' voices interact."
With a new year on the horizon, there is much to look forward to for Tiny Habits. Recently praised by Sir Elton John on his Rocket Hour radio program, he exclaimed, "Ah, so beautiful, Tiny Habits… They're delicious, we love them." What more can you say?
