Gavin Lux is a professional baseball player who plays second base, shortstop, and left field for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was drafted by the Dodgers in the 1st round of the 2016 MLB Draft and made his Major League debut in 2019 at the age of 21. Since then, Lux has quickly established himself as one of the top young players in the game, known for his impressive offensive skills and his ability to make key plays in various positions across the diamond.
In 2020, Lux became the youngest player to hit a pinch-hit home run in MLB postseason history, ultimately helping the Dodgers secure their first World Series win since 1988. Lux later solidified his status as a productive everyday player in 2022, recording seven triples – most in the NL.
