Troy Mullins became the first African American woman to win a World Long Drive tour competition in 2017 at the Mile High Showdown. She holds the world record for longest drive by an American woman of 402 yards. A talented golfer and broadcaster, Troy is an on-course reporter, host, and content creator for LIV Golf. She also continues to hone her skills on the course and aspires to make the LPGA Tour.

Troy’s swing style has been compared to that of her professional male counterparts. With an average swing speed of 117 mph (ranking in the PGA top 50), she’s a perennial in the World Long Drive Women’s Division. Nicknamed the “Trojan Goddess,” her rise to fame has been meteoric. A seasoned athlete, Troy was a member of Cornell University Women’s Track and Field team as a heptathlete, competing in seven events (shot-put, javelin, long jump, high jump, 100m hurdle, 200m, 800m).

Troy hopes to inspire people of all ages, as well as more women of color, to participate in golf and is in the early stages of planning a charitable initiative to help achieve that. Off the course, she started her own homeschooling business in Los Angeles, California, and dedicates a lot of her free time towards her passion for fashion designing.

Troy is a graduate of Cornell University, where she pursued a major in China Asia Pacific Studies and international relations. She is fluent in Spanish, Sign Language, and Mandarin Chinese.
