Early Career
Freddie played his club cricket for Papplewick and Linby before launching his First-Class career in headline making style.
Nottinghamshire
After working through the age groupings at Nottinghamshire Freddie made his second lX debut in 2022.
In July 2024, Freddie made his senior debut in both white-ball formats when appearing in the Metro Bank One Day Cup and the Vitality Blast.
Weeks later, Freddie made a spectacular start to his First-Class and County Championship career. Between late August and September, he made 358 runs in five matches. This tally included an eye-catching 154 and 130 as well as an half-century on debut.
England
In August 2023, Freddie played for the Young Lions against the Under-19s of Australia. In two 50 over warm-up matches, before Australia’s Test and ODI series in England, Freddie scored 31 in the opening match – a 6 wicket defeat for the Lions. The second encounter was yet another defeat, but this time around Freddie scored 51 off 50 balls.
