Tom Aspinwall
Tom played for Kendal and Cumbria before joining Lancashire’s Academy set-up. He is now an integral part of Lancashire’s first team.
Lancashire
Tom’s List A debut came in the opening group game of the Metro Bank One Day Cup on 1 Aust 2023. Tom went on to play all seven group games in 2023 as well as the Quarter Final defeat to Gloucestershire. He recorded best bowling figures of 4-52 in the win over Middlesex. With the bat, Tom made a List A highest score of 47 in the Quarter Final defeat at Bristol.
Tom’s County Championship debut came in the 2024 season opener in April. He then returned to Championship action in mid-May taking 5 Durham wickets in an innings to give Tom career best bowling figures (5-41) and his first 5 wicket haul.
England
Tom made his England Under 19 debut in September 2021 in the home ODI series against West Indies. In the third match of the series, he recorded a under 19 career best in ODIs when hitting 41. In the following match, Tom took 3 West Indies wickets for 28 runs – his best bowling analysis in international ODIs.
After the winter tour of Sri Lanka, Tom went to West Indies for the 2022 ICC Under 19 World Cup, helping England to the final.
